Seven adventurers brave the Arctic's harshest realms: Svalbard lies about midway between the northern coast of Norway and the North Pole with 60% of the archipelago covered with glaciers. For 40 days of relentless cold, the team covered the distance of 700km, primarily by ski-touring. They benefited from the warmth and comfort of merino wool on their epic journey. From underwear to base layers to mid layers, our merino layering system, was essential to braving Svalbard's extreme -35°C temperatures.
